How does a Node work?

An Ethereum node is simply any computer running the software needed to connect with the Ethereum network. Nodes connect with one another to send information back and forth to validate transactions and store data about the state of the blockchain. AKA if you are trying to mint an NFT at the same time as 10 other people, whereas you would normally be in a gas war, or have a failed transaction, using a node prioritizes your transaction, making yours jump to the front of the queue, increasing processing speed and safety. Think of it as everyone minting/sniping NFTs normally is in a Walmart Checkout line with 50 people in front of you, and using this node you are at the Speedy Checkout by yourself. A node will be most useful to you when minting something that is overallocated/public, basically, it will get your transaction to the miners more quickly than the next guy to get the mint first
